A quick note to say how much we enjoyed our week at Le Bourg. The facilities were excellent, the weather fine and sunny for the most part, and this little bit of France a delight.

Thanks for everything. The holiday was excellent and the house could not have been more comfortable and welcoming. We will see you again. NK
Thank you for letting us share your lovely house in Courson. A few times it was even hot enough to sit outside on the new patio, watching Annabel trying to feed grass to the horse - a somewhat uneven tempered animal. We had a lovely week going round the museum at Avranches and the Normandy beaches, which my son John enjoyed, and visiting the Bayeux Tapestry (where, incidentally, they had an additional fascinating exhibition on the Viking connection, which I hadn't seen before) and Mont St Michel, among other excursions.
Jean-Claude and Diana were very kind and friendly; we ate there twice and Annabel went to the shop every day to get croissants, bread, etc. With their help and a phrase book, she became much more confident with her French. She also enjoyed the videos in her room – they could have been chosen specially for her! John had the bedroom downstairs because of his sight and epilepsy problems and, once he had got his bearings, he was fine. He only once bumped his head on the mantelpiece!
It was so nice to give the children a holiday in a place where they felt secure – very many thanks,
Judy |
